Ellie the Elephant

I would like to introduce Ellie the Elephant to the Blue Dinosaur Crochet Safari Collection! After lots of thought and watching The Lion King for a second time… I decided to design an Elephant! What you will need:
3.5mm Crochet Hook
4 Seasons Stallion in Grey
(Can use another yarn)
Small amount of Black Yarn – For Eyes. (Can use Safety eyes for Children over three)
Stitch Markers
Hobby fill/ Stuffing
Sewing Pins
Needle for sewing pieces together
Scissors

Please stuff each piece as you go, leaving a long tail to sew pieces together or closed. I did not stuff the trunk, tail or ears as I feel as though they did not need to be stuffed.

Before sewing Ellie together I recommend pinning each of the pieces in place before sewing together. This will allow you to make sure that Ellie is able to stand up!

I have decided not to use safety eyes, instead I have sewn on eyes with black yarn. I have done this because I have children that are under the age of three how use my creations. This does not mean that you can’t. If you choose to use safety eyes I would love to see how they have turned out!

I hope you all have as much fun as I have had creating Ellie. Now to get the approval of the three year old’s at work…
