What you will need:
3.5mm Crochet Hook
1 Skein of 4 Seasons Stallion in Red
Small amount of Black Yarn (for eyes)
Stitch Markers
Hobby fill/ Stuffing
Sewing Pins
Needle for sewing pieces together
Scissors

Abbreviations (US Terms):
MC – Magic Circle
SC – Single Crochet
st – Stitch
sl st – Slip Stitch
SC INCR – Increase (two stitches in the same stitch)
SC DECR – Decrease (combine two stitches together, to decrease amount in row)
BLO – Single Crochet in the Back Loop Only

Legs – Big Part of Legs (Make 6)
Round 1) In a MC, SC 6. Sl st into first SC.
Round 2) Ch 1, SC INCR. Repeat around. Sl St into Ch 1 space. (12)
Round 3) Ch 1, SC in BLO in each around. Sl St into Ch 1 space. (12)
Round 4 – 8) Ch 1, SC in each around. Sl St into Ch 1 space. (12)

Legs – Small Part of Legs (Make 6):
Round 1) In a MC, SC 4. Sl St into first SC.
Round 2) Ch 1, SC INCR. Repeat around. Sl st into Ch 1 space. (8)
Round 3) Ch1, SC in BLO in each around. Sl St into Ch 1 space. (8)
Round 4 – 9) Ch 1, SC in each around. Sl St into Ch 1 space (8)

Both of these pieces will be joined together to create one leg.

Front Claws (Make two):
Round 1) In a MC, SC 4.
Round 2) SC, SC INCR. Repeat. (6)
Round 3) SC 2, SC INCR. Repeat. (8)
Round 4) SC 3, SC INCR. Repeat. (10)

Make first claw and then Fasten off. When making second claw DO NOT fasten off. The second Claw will be joined to the first claw made. This will be worked in the Rounds to come.
Round 9) SC 8, then begin to SC into the first piece made. On the first claw that you have made (the claw that we are joining), SC into the 1st St (this will be next to the last stitch you have done on this piece). Continue to SC in each around (Including joining onto the 2nd Claw. This will leave you with a total of 32.
Round 10) SC 14, SC DECR. Repeat. (30)
Round 11) SC 11, SC DECR x2. Repeat. (26)
Round 12) SC 9, SC DECR x2. Repeat. (22)
Round 13) SC 7, SC DECR x2. Repeat. (18)
Round 14) SC 5, SC DECR x2. Repeat. (14)
Round 15) SC 3, SC DECR x2. Repeat. (10)
Round 16 – 23) SC in each around. (10)
Fasten off, Leave long tail for sewing.

For assembly sew the smaller part of the legs to the bigger part of the legs. The big part of the legs will be the part that attaches to the body. Before sewing any of the pieces to the body I suggest pinning them in place. This will allow you to make sure that Cam the Crab can stand up using his legs.
